Azalea Orthopedics is an independent physician-owned practice with fellowship trained physicians in sports medicine, hand surgery, foot & ankle surgery, shoulder surgery, total joint surgery, spine surgery, trauma, physical medicine & rehabilitation and interventional pain management. We are the market leader in East Texas with two offices in Tyler and one in Mt. Pleasant as well as numerous satellite clinics. Our 24 physicians maintain privileges at six hospitals. Company History
The practice was founded in 1994 by six physicians and quickly grew to twelve. We merged with another group of eight physicians in 2001 to form the largest and most comprehensive musculoskeletal practice in eastern Texas. Our physicians built a surgical specialty hospital, which opened in 2002 and has been extremely successful. We continue to expand and add services and providers. Most recently breaking ground on a 96 bed skilled nursing facility.
