Description
Medical City Healthcare seeks a Nurse Manager of Orth-Neuro to lead our orthopedic and neurologic inpatient unit. This role oversees daily operations, staffing, and high-quality patient care while supporting an engaged, collaborative nursing team. The Nurse Manager drives quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and evidence-based practice, partnering closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include budget and resource management, staff development, and using clinical data to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction in a fast-paced acute care environment.Lead daily operations of the Orth-Neuro nursing unit, ensuring safe, high‑quality patient care
Supervise, mentor, and schedule nursing staff while promoting teamwork and accountability
Oversee patient flow, bed management, and coordination with physicians and ancillary teams
Implement and monitor evidence‑based clinical protocols, policies, and quality improvement initiatives
Manage budget, staffing levels, and resource allocation for optimal clinical and financial outcomes
Ensure regulatory, Joint Commission, and hospital policy compliance
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care for orthopedic and neurologic patients
Support staff education, competency development, and performance evaluations
Engage patients and families in care planning and satisfaction initiatives
Use clinical data and analytics to drive continuous improvement on key unit metrics
